The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and Revolution 250 will partner with Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts to commemorate Boston Tea Party Participants Peter Mackintosh and Joseph Mountfort.
This outdoor free public event is part of a nationwide collaborative effort to place commemorative markers at the graves of known Boston Tea Party Participants in anticipation of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in 2023.
Those attending the ceremony should use the front entrance located at 580 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 and then meet at the grave of Peter Mackintosh located on the Ailanthus Path. From the cemetery front entrance, head up Central Ave., and park along Central Ave. between Cypress and Poplar.
This outdoor event is free and open to the public.
