Join the Historic Winslow House, Revolution 250 and The Boston Tea Party Museum
for a trip back to 1773. Immerse yourself in the past and gain valuable insight into
the events leading to the American Revolution.

Bring your own tea to participate in “Dump Your Tea” at the old town trolley.
Some tea will be used in the burning reenactment and the rest sent to Boston
to be dumped into the harbor at The Boston Tea Party Museum’s anniversary
event on December 16th. Sign in and your family’s name will be added to the
certificate documenting this historic 250th anniversary.
3pm-4pm ~ Engage with local men and women portraying Whigs & Loyalists
and hear lively debates about the historical events that led to the
Boston Tea Party. Hint..it wasn’t just about tea taxes. Finally,
observe the patriots burning the tea in a show of solidarity with
the Boston patriots.
4pm-5pm ~ Learn about the aftermath of the tea-burning and discover what
lies ahead for Marshfield in 1774

Dress for the weather and bring a chair. Hot chocolate will be available for purchase. This event is an
opportunity to witness history and gain a deeper understanding of the motivations and events which
